The Ray Flynn Memorial Fund was established shortly after Ray’s passing by his sister Krysten, cousin Katie, and friend Andy.
The initial intention was to put together a one-time Polar Plunge, one of Ray’s many traditions with his children. We sold custom ‘Plunge for Ray’ T-Shirts to raise some money for his five children’s college funds. The turn out for the Polar Plunge was beyond overwhelming with over 200 of Ray’s friends and family showing their support for Ray. We appreciate the support from friends and families and a generous donation from a local charity. This will be an annual event remembering Ray.
Shirts for the 2024 Polar Plunge are now available to pre-order and will be available to pick up at the event, or you can have it shipped to your house. Cut off date to order shirts is December 20th.
We would love tho thank everyone who supported our event last year and still continue to honor Ray.
All proceeds from from this fund will benefit Ray Flynn Jr’s children, this is NOT a Tax-Deductible Charitable Donation.
January 1, 2023 over 200 people fought the flooding and made their way to Bonnet Shores Beach Club and showed the Flynn kids how much their father was loved. Donning their ‘Plunge For Ray’ t-shirts many of them bravely made it into the water to show support for an event that Ray had made a tradition with his 5 kids!
After the plunge was complete, the celebration continued with Ray’s good friend, John Erickson, performing at Twin Willows. It was a great tribute to a man who was sure to be missed by many! We look forward to seeing many of you again this year, as we continue to remember and celebrate Raymon Flynn.
